1. Differences in comminution process

Tempering is an important part of feed production. The quality of steam plays a decisive role in the quality of quenching and tempering. Quenching and tempering is the process that steam transfers moisture and heat energy to feed. Only dry saturated steam can transfer heat to feed quickly, and the heat transfer of saturated steam is instantaneous. Superheated steam has low heat capacity and poor heat transfer performance. Superheated steam needs a 2-3 minute self cooling process, and its conditioning process is less than 3 minutes. Therefore, it can't finish quenching and tempering better. The heat capacity of wet steam is very low, and the two will reduce the heat of evaporation, the moisture will hinder the steam and feed the heat exchange, resulting in local water is high, easy to cause local granulation slip, high moisture, not easy to be taken out of the cooling, easy to cause local mildew.
Sorghum, barley, as rich in starch, fiber, the conditioning, if the use of wet steam, will be more prone to slipping; and if the superheated steam, due to quenching and tempering is not sufficient, starch gelatinization, granulation also will be more difficult, so the requirements are also higher than corn feed on steam.
How to get dry saturated steam? I think the following measures must be done:
1. The steam pressure from the boiler must be guaranteed. Generally speaking, the steam from the boiler must have more than 6 kilograms of pressure.
2, the pipeline must minimize the loss: to use the appropriate pipe diameter to minimize the length of the pipeline. When we can't reduce pipeline length, we must do well in pipeline slope (100:1 tilting to steam transportation direction), and drain drain valve at the bottom of pipeline for effective drainage every 50 meters.
3, before entering the conditioner, it is necessary to effectively decompress the steam pressure to the appropriate pressure (different conditioners, different materials, using different quenching and tempering pressure). Generally, the quenching and tempering pressure is not more than 4 kilograms.
4, after decompression, the steam pipeline is about 1.5 times larger than that of the conveying pipeline, and the drainage must be carried out effectively. In general, before entering the conditioner, there must be a riser, the bottom is steam, the upper part enters the conditioner, the bottom is hydrophobic, and the condensate is strictly entered into the conditioner.
5, after decompression should pay close attention to the temperature and pressure on the pressure check temperature, ensure that the steam is saturated steam (e.g. after decompression pressure is 0.2MPa, corresponding to 2.04 kilograms, by querying its temperature should be 120.24 degrees, when the temperature is too high, the steam is superheated steam, when the temperature is too low, wet steam pipe), after decompression the general case should not be more conducive to heat treatment, after decompression steam temperature drop to the corresponding temperature
